Randall's Run Steelhead

Big Fish Bob Randall caught these Steelhead today on the Little Manistee River. They were 6 and 7 pounds. Bob caught these in Randall's Run, which is a secret stream that only a few of us know about.

November Ladies Luncheon

The Hammer Point Ladies Luncheon was held at Gus' Grill In the Mariott Hotel in Key Largo.

The Thunderbirds

Pat and I attended the Air show Saturday at Homestead Air Force Base. This was the first show they have had in 17 years since Hurricane Andrew destroyed the base. We went with our friends Guy, a retired pilot, and Sue and their son Jerry and his family, who just retired as a Navy fighter pilot. Being with them we learned a lot about our military planes and the weapons they carry. It was a great show and I would recomend that you go to one if you have never been to one.

Big Snapper

Jean's little cousin Nic caught this nice 20 inch snapper off the dock. Nic catches his share of fish when he visits the Keys with his dad.

Jerry Leekey is always catching dinner for his parents, Guy and Sue.

Judy holds a nice snook she caught while fishing with her husband Ray and a fishing guide. Ray is learning the area where he is spending much of his time. Judy caught snook after snook after snook.

This weekend I fished the Susquehanna River in North East Pennsylvania with Wade Frazee.
Saturday was rain, cold as hell, and windy ( We Flyfished for trout instead of yaking the river.
Sunday although very windy, weather was decent. We caught 20 Smallies all 12 to 14'' with shoulders. The river was beautiful. We saw 3 bald eagles, an Osprey, Blue Herons and even a mink.

Gag and Red Grouper

Patrick O'Rourke holds up an eight pound Gag Grouper he caught while fishing the Backcountry with his father-in-law, Captain Keysmon.
He also caught a 12 pound Red Grouper using Pinfish as bait.
He also caught a few Bonnet and Nurse Sharks.
We fished for about 3 hours this morning and did not see another boat and when we got stopped by the Park Ranger he said you know why you got stopped and I said yes, we are the only boat out and he said that's right. He was a nice guy, for a change, and we left without any tickets. But then again we did not do anything wrong this time.
