I just wanted to send you a picture from my offshore mother ship trip. We chartered a boat that took me and two other kayakers 50 miles offshore from the New Jersey shore. Once we reached the fishing area we got out of the boat and into the kayaks. I wound up hooking up with this 50 lb. blue fin tuna after only 20 minutes. The fight lasted close to 40 minutes and when I finally got the fish to the kayak, my friend came along and helped with gaffing it. It was a great trip and I am looking forward to getting out again to try for a bigger one!
