Scott and Phylis from Harper Lake MI. caught this large Pike a few feet from their back door.While Scott and Phylis were in the Keys last month they pulled up their anchor in Tavernier Creek and attached to it was a nice rod and reel that had obviously been in the water for a few years.
When they returned to MI Scott cleaned the rod and reel up and when he removed the line their was a name and address attached to the spool. After some online research he managed to get in touch with the owner in NJ. The owner was surprised and asked how he got his name. It seems the owner used the return address labels that you get through the mail as a backer for the line. His 5 year old daughter had dropped it off the boat 3 years ago. Scott is sending back to him.
