The Salmon Run

Here is Big Fish Randall holding some nice size Salmon, I think they are Salmon. this is a very busy time of the year for the Michigan fishermen. Bob says he HAS to go fishing every day or he just doesn't feel right. Amen.

September Ladies Luncheon

The Hammer Point Ladies Luncheon only had a few women this month because many of them were entered in the Big Shark Tournament In Key West or away on vacation. With the winter months coming more will be attending the luncheon I am sure.

Record Brown Trout

60 year old fisherman Tom Healy was fishing with guide Tim Roller in the Big Manistee River when he hooked this record breaking Brown Trout weighing 41 lbs 7.25 oz. Healy was fishing in Big Fish Bob Randall's backyard.
It ain't fair Biggie it should have been yours.

Aboard The WAHOO VIII


Captain Gus Ramirez and his crew had a good day fishing offshore this week. They caught barrel fish, tile fish, and snowy grouper.
Pictured here are from left to right Frankie, Captain Gus, Gus the III and Gus Jr. They fished in 1200 feet of water and were using squid for bait.
