Another Snook

Jenna Piexoto, went fishing with her grandfather Captain Glenn Warrington and caught this 24" Snook. It was Jenna's 16 birthday and her wish was to go Snook fishing. She caught it on a white Hank Brown jig tipped with a shrimp. The Captain said the water was so clear last night that they saw the Snook going for the bait. Nice job Jenna.

BIG SNOOK

Jenna caught a huge snook tonight while trolling with Captain Grampa Glenn. It weighed 10.8 lbs. and was 33-34" long. Jenna did a good job bringing it to the boat even though the rod came apart. Great job Jenn!!!!!
Jenna does this to us every year.

GuY and Sue in The Falklands

We spent a beautiful day in the Falklands.  Usually not the best weather here but was sunny and 60.  Took the 4 wheel drive to the Penguin colony.    Very rough 2 hr drive.  Only the first 15 minutes were on paved roads.  Our driver and guide was the local newspaper editor.  She was fun and helpful.  There were thousands of penguins out there.  Some of them were very funny.  They were not afraid of us. The meal they fed us was Guy's favorite. Egg Salad Sandwiches!!!!! NOTTTTTTTTTT Oh well it was still great. I gave him my potatoe chips. He ate enough sushi last night for dinner to last him.

SHRIMPERS

Scott and Phyllis did some shrimping with Pat and I last night and all we caught were these two shrimp. We went out early but the tide was not cooperating. Friday is the full moon, watch out.

CAPTAIN MILTON OLIVEIRA

Today we put our friend Milton's ashes in Tavernier Creek, a place he always loved, right in the spot he caught his first Snook. A lot of nice things were said about Milt, but there could never be enough nice things to say about him. His life long friend Glenn Warrington gave the eulogy.  Goodbye Milton, we will miss you.
